How Trade Assessments Work
After your background check clears, you'll take a timed, trade-specific assessment. A 70% score activates your profile.
Assigned after your check clears
Once your background check is cleared, you'll be assigned a trade-specific assessment based on the profession you selected during signup.
What the assessment covers
Assessments cover 5 topic areas per trade — available for Plumber, Electrician, HVAC, Painter, Carpenter, and General Maintenance — and must be completed in 15 minutes.
Passing the assessment
A minimum score of 70% is required to pass. Passing your assessment activates your tasker profile and makes you eligible for task offers.
If you don't pass
If you fail, you may request a reassessment after a 72-hour waiting period, giving you time to review and prepare before trying again.
