How Background Checks Work on Nuvex Nova
Background checks run automatically after you apply, using public court records and the national sex offender registry.
Automatic after application
Background checks are run automatically after you submit your application. There's no separate step to start them — applying triggers the process.
What we search
We search public court records via CourtListener and the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW). Results are reviewed by our ops team before any decision is made.
If a flag is returned
If your background check returns a flag, you will be notified and given the opportunity to provide context. Certain findings may result in platform ineligibility.
Checking your status
You can view your background check status in your Tasker portal under Profile at any time.
